This week has been a crazy mix of up and down. My function has decreased yet again. Physical Therapy has gone fine although I have not been able to do the full routine. I really want to do this though as I am motivated to regain all that I can, as quickly as I can. As usual our church has stepped up their efforts when we need it. Jarvis - there just isn't enough I can say to thank you for everything.
Radiation is going well. I have few side effects from that for now. Unfortunately my pain has increased greatly. We are trying to get it under control and I have no doubt that my doc will find a way to get this under control. I have been seen three days so far this wee and go back to be seen tomorrow as well. I am getting around okay at home though. Once I get up it's fine. Getting up and down is a bit more challenging. Ever hear of Cushings?

I want you to know that as a cancer survivor myself- at age 8 (I am a walking miracle- PRAISE GOD!!), I am praying for you!!! Please know others out here care. As a mother of 7 I can't imagine what you are going through with all of your other responsibilities!

I heard about your blog from a sweet friend of mine who adopted a beautiful little girl from China last year and felt that I should share my story and information with you. My sister is 29 years old and was diagnosed with an agressive form of breast cancer in February - she was also 7 months pregnant at the time. I am a Christian homeschool mom and a researcher at heart so I hit the internet to find what could be done to help my sister buy time for the baby to continue to grow until a safe age to be born. The doctors insisted that she begin chemo immediately and one doctor even told her that they do not concern themselves with the welfare of the baby but instead only concern themselves with treating the mom! My sister is currently in Arizona undergoing cancer treatment (we are in California) from a clinic that offers integrative cancer treatment. The doctor is an oncologist and also a homeopathic doctor who integrates both worlds into his treatment program with incredible results!! We have created a website for my sister to keep in touch with the many who are praying for her. She has been writing about her treatments, experiences, etc. on the website. Cindy, I ran across Linny's blog which brought me to yours. I have read several of your posts today and can I tell you how wonderful you are to share such deep personal feelings? The one that jolted me was the one about loving God more than your children. I have to tell you that I thought I was the only one who struggled with that "earthly" thought. It's a hard thing to voice because then you actually have to face it and then do something about it. I too know that as much as I love my children & my husband that God is my Father and I too do love HIM best. HE loves us so much that HE gave HIS life for us. How could we not love HIM more than anything else? Thank you so much for sharing that post(and all the others) and I want you to know that I will be fasting and praying for you on Monday and will continue to pray for you every day! I just read your blog tonight. My heart aches for you, my sister in Christ, fellow mom to a daughter from China and homeschooler. Although I missed the fast on Monday, I will be praying for you daily and following your blog.
